Matthew is our science guy🤓; he loves to do experiments. He started watching Netflix’s new science show “Emily Wonder Lab.” She did an episode on Oobleck. Which spoke right to Matthew’s “Science guys imagination.” Through Matthews persistent (days of whining and asking every 5 minutes) we decided to give it a go. (Scarry🥺!!)

So off we go. Matthew set up a pan, bowls, water and food coloring for himself and the twins. We watched “Emily’s Wonder Lab” again and got ready to film. Thinking with all we had, that this was going to go great, (Although I should have known) But like most things in our lives we power on!

Matthew is really good at hosting videos experiments. (Notice all the beautiful smiles) Matthew is in charge, he directs the twins pour the water in after in their bowls and then helps them with the food coloring. Then mommy adds the corn starch to the bowls.

All the boys start stirring up their oobreck. However, as you can see, we run into a few problems… I think we added too much water! Woops😁

Things went south very fast. As usual all the boys want attention at the same time, usually resulting in a few breaks downs. 😖As I rewatch the video, all I can do is smile, even though it was slightly chaotic we had lots of fun. 🤥

Matthew learned (and so did I) that measuring ingredients is a must! We learned patients and we learned that Alex doesn’t like his hand dirty!!

Conclusion: Don’t let your kids watch fun science show!!! 😆
